Chapter 3 of 16 · Ari Boar after Kapel

Handling difficult feelings

A feeling has a job. Name it. Give it an address. Let the channel carry it.

Kapel’s long middle is a feeling room with a digestive annex. The five jobs are the teaching: fear protects, anger makes a change, grief releases, love contacts, sympathy tends. This chapter is how those jobs get stuck, and how a channel reports the feeling. The annex — stomach, spleen, intestine — is the same feeling landed in an organ. Course 01 names the five. Later courses walk the organs. This chapter is the bridge.

The job, then the trap

Fear that still sizes a danger is a tool. Fear that soaks the whole day is a trap. Anger that completes a boundary is a tool. Anger that waits to punish is a trap. Grief that moves through is a tool. Grief that becomes a role is a trap. Kapel parks them on channels — kidney and bladder for fear, liver for anger, lung and large intestine for grief, heart for contact, spleen for tend (the manifesto’s job-word on spleen is self-worth: same earth door, two faces — tend is the feeling-job, self-worth is the open pole). Parking is how you find the line to trace. Open and stuck are two faces of one current.

Digestive pages, as the same map

Stomach receives. Spleen transforms. Small intestine sorts. Large intestine lets go. Gluten, dairy, corn, soy, oat — in this school they stand as emotional influence of the material. You ask whether the field is moved. Age, story, feeling, meridians. A food can carry a father, a mother, a culture, a pun. That is Kapel’s gift: the kitchen as a door into Chart 1-1, not a separate subject. The same framing returns in Amino acids and in Minerals — still influence, not an IgE.
