Chart 11-2 · 12 min
Two rivers
A read of this page, with the plate.

Rows of hepatocytes. Portal vein arrives with the broth from the small intestine — amino acids, monosaccharides. It fans into sinusoids. Cells drink, work, return what the body may have. Blood drops to the central vein, vena cava, heart, lungs, body. Bile is the other river: canals toward the duct, gallbladder, duodenum. Two directions on one drawing. Fat did not ride this portal. Fat took lymph. It meets the liver later, on the hepatic artery.
Practice
Trace 11-2 with a finger: portal in, central vein down, bile out. Journal which river feels like the sentence in your field.
Check
This hour teaches that amino acids and sugars arrive at the liver by:
- Lymph, as chylomicrons
- The portal vein, into sinusoids ✓
- The bile duct, with soap
Portal for protein and sugar. Lymph for fat. Bile is leaving, not arriving as food.
You use the two rivers by:
- Asking the stomach which juice is loud
- Naming portal and bile, then asking which river the field is talking from ✓
- Sending both cargos down the pyloric sphincter
Name the rivers. Occupancy of a cell is a question. Chart 1-1 if a story belongs on a river.
Practice on this hour is to:
- A name that captures the whole sky
- Trace 11-2 with a finger: portal in, central vein down, bile out. ✓
- A board you invent without her permission
Method before bottle. Trace what the lesson names.
Chart 11-2 on this hour is used as:
- Living against the tide on purpose
- Bile one way. Blood the other. Central vein down to the vena cava. ✓
- A cream you prescribe from the chart
Translator map — Chart 11-2. Not a prescription pad.
The lab on this hour is for:
- A graded exam that invents the next curriculum
- Feeling and naming what the lesson maps — journal, not a bottle ✓
- A prescription pad for the lab name
Lab is literacy. Not a dose from the yield.
"Two rivers" here is best treated as:
- A tourist collection of special experiences
- Portal vein arrives with the broth from the small intestine — amino acids… ✓
- A rigid diagnosis tool that replaces sleep
Train with the map. Do not invent a second sky.
The skilled response here is:
- A tourist empty-mind contest
- Cells drink, work, return what the body may have. ✓
- A reason to skip permission
Cells drink, work, return what the body may have.
Keep this from the body of the hour:
- Treating every hour as interchangeable production
- Blood drops to the central vein, vena cava, heart, lungs, body. ✓
- Thyroxine from the medulla
Blood drops to the central vein, vena cava, heart, lungs, body.
On this hour, choose:
- A rigid medical diagnosis you must stamp
- It meets the liver later, on the hepatic artery. ✓
- Squeezing the gate until it 'opens'
It meets the liver later, on the hepatic artery.
You use this lesson by:
- Collapsing two houses into one word
- Central vein down to the vena cava. ✓
- Opening a chakra by squeezing it
Central vein down to the vena cava.
