Vitamins

A vitamin is a cofactor a human may not make. In class it is a door on a cascade.

The fat-soluble four: A, D, E, K. The B-vitamin cascade: B1 thiamin, B2 riboflavin, B3 niacin, B5 pantothenic, B6, biotin, folate, B12, and choline as a cousin. Ascorbate on the hydroxylases. B6 on the door from glutamate to GABA. Folate on the serine–glycine shuttle. These are Chart 1-1s Courses 02–03 and 35–36 already named. Kapel’s vitamin pages keep the names as furniture in a pathway so you can ask the field whether that door is open. Influence of the material still applies: the letter, the food, the cofactor as influence. You ask. You listen. You trace. pH is a real number in blood — not a pendulum sport, here or on the mineral pages.
