Hair, skin, and nails
Skin reports the field the way a meridian reports a feeling.

Hair, skin, nails are the visible edge of reserve and of let-go. Kapel called skin a third kidney — a teaching figure, not a second pair of beans. The first kidney is the well (chapter XII). The ear already claimed a kidney rhyme for hearing and balance (chapter XIV). Skin is the third report of the same well: what the reserve cannot hold shows on the surface. Lung and large intestine already sit with grief and with the boundary of the body. Lung-skin is a classical pair. Ask the channel. Trace if invited. The surface is a report, not a separate subject.
