The disclosure
A read of this page, with the plate.

Under the law SB 577, you are required to have your clients sign a disclosure statement. Summarize your practice briefly. Explain how it works. Describe a little of what the client may expect. That very condensed page must also state that you are not a physician, chiropractor, veterinarian, or licensed therapist. You are an unlicensed practitioner who has the legal right to practice in the State of California. This statement needs to be signed by your client and kept in his file. After that, you don’t need to back-pedal or apologize, or explain yourself. They know what you do, and who you are, and what your credentials are, and what they aren’t. They have signed the paper that says that they know that. Now you have some clarity. A copy for them. A copy you keep three years. No signature, no hour. A child: the parent signs. Little kids usually need to be held. California does not offer this license — you may say so without a sermon. Don’t volunteer a lecture about limits until the paper has been read. Another state has another door. You ask that door before you begin.
The sample. Read it out loud.
I am not a licensed physician. The services I provide are alternative or complementary to healing arts the State of California licenses. These services are not licensed by the state.
Nature of the services: Bioenergy Balancing. We sit down together at a desk. We talk. I explain muscle testing and meridians, the limitations and possibilities. Then the body-consciousness is asked, and it answers yes and no. This is not a diagnosis. This is not a treatment.
Theory: a living field can be asked, and the body-consciousness answers.
Training: Bioenergy Ai Academy, Kapel lineage, Bioenergy Balancing Center. I do not hold out as a physician, a surgeon, or a physician and surgeon.
I have received this statement in writing. I understand it. Signature and date. A copy for you. A copy kept three years. No paper, no session.
Practice
Read the disclosure once out loud. Name what a copy is for. After they have signed, go back to the work.
Check
The sample disclosure:
- In a packet that is not here
- Printed on this hour — read it out loud ✓
- A credential you hang on the wall
Read it. Then sit down together.
The written yes:
- Optional if you are nice
- Plain language, a signature, a copy for them, a copy three years — no paper, no hour ✓
- A license
After that, you don’t need to back-pedal.
A child:
- Fine without a paper
- The parent signs — little kids usually need to be held ✓
- A student kit
They generally don’t want to lie down on the table.
Nature, theory, training:
- Skipped
- Named on the sample ✓
- Someone else’s page
The paper names them. Then the table.
Not a licensed physician:
- A joke
- The first line of the sample ✓
- A dose you write
Plain language. Once.
Three years:
- Optional
- A copy you keep ✓
- Until the cat signs
Kept in his file.
You do not hang a credential because:
- The paper is the door — then you go back to the work ✓
- A blood titer is a doctor's number
- Class 01 said so
They have signed. Now you have some clarity.
Another door:
- This paper travels
- Another state — you ask that door before you sit ✓
- No complementary work exists
California’s door is California’s.
Complementary:
- A treatment
- Alternative or complementary to healing arts the state licenses ✓
- A dose you write
It isn’t therapy. It isn’t medical. You balance bioenergy fields.
No signature:
- You sit anyway
- No paper, no hour ✓
- A waiver you invent
The paper is the door.
