Chart 8-2: scalenes — three straps from cervical transverse processes to the first ribs
Chart 8-2. Three on each side. Anterior and middle to rib one. Posterior to rib two. Between anterior and middle: plexus and subclavian.CGI copy of her Draw · Atlas keeps the original.

Levator scapulae. Scalenes. Splenius capitis — she wrote capitus. Sternocleidomastoid — she wrote sterno cleido-mastoideus. Stomach on all four. Course 07 named levator on stomach already, and refused to invent a neck chart. This is that chart. The jaw waits one hour.

Scalenes, named honestly

Three straps. They elevate ribs one and two. They side-bend the neck. They are accessory inspiration. Between anterior and middle scalene the brachial plexus and the subclavian artery pass. Name the corridor. Levator hikes the blade. SCM turns the head to the other side. Splenius turns it to the same side. Keep the names.

Practice

Open the map. Sit with scalenes. Name three straps, rib one and rib two, plexus between. Journal a neck side-bend as sensation. A numb arm on a reach belongs with a physician — thoracic outlet, not a stomach sit.

Check
