Chart 34-5: glutamate to alpha-ketoglutarate plus free ammonia
Pyridoxamine phosphate donates to alpha-ketoglutarate. Glutamate. Then NAD and water. Alpha-ketoglutarate again, and NH3.CGI copy of her Draw · Atlas keeps the original.

Glutamate can go two ways. Glutamine synthetase picks ammonia up into glutamine — that is a hold, not a drop. Glutaminase in the liver drops it later. The door that frees ammonia on this hour is NAD and water: glutamate to alpha-ketoglutarate plus free NH3. Niacin as a name. Headache, fatigue, disorientation as pictures. High ammonia belongs with a physician. Hepatitis belongs with a physician. The wheel Course 32 named — ornithine, citrulline, aspartate, arginine. PABA on aspartate as a name. Lithium on arginine as a physician. You send the ammonia to the wheel, or you stop.

Practice

Point NAD, water, NH3. If the room is a high ammonia, you leave.

Check

Back to glutamine drops ammonia:

  1. The teaching
  2. Runs backwards — glutamine synthetase picks ammonia up; glutaminase in the liver drops it ✓
  3. NAD

That's the work.

The door that frees ammonia here:

  1. Glutamine
  2. NAD and water — glutamate to alpha-ketoglutarate plus free NH3 ✓
  3. A dose of ornithine

That's the work.

Niacin on this hour:

  1. Calcium release
  2. NAD — not the lateral sacs ✓
  3. Glutamine synthetase

That's the work.

High ammonia:

  1. You prescribe glutamine
  2. A physician ✓
  3. Picked up as a dose you write

That's the work.

The wheel:

  1. A student detox kit
  2. Course 32 — already covered ✓
  3. Lithium you scoop

That's the work.

Headache, fatigue, disorientation:

  1. A dose you write
  2. Pictures of free ammonia ✓
  3. Synthetase

That's the work.

Hepatitis:

  1. A dose you write
  2. A physician ✓
  3. NAD you scoop

That's the work.

You send the ammonia to the wheel, or:

  1. You prescribe ornithine
  2. You stop ✓
  3. You reverse synthetase

That's the work.

Transamination made the ammonia:

  1. Yes
  2. No — transamination does not make ammonia ✓
  3. Glutaminase here

That's the work.

You do not write a dose from this practice because:

  1. The door is named ✓
  2. A blood titer is a doctor's number
  3. Course 32 said so

That's the work.
